Tarot Cards

Whenever my girlfriends are interested or even when I’m caught in a dilemma, I always turn to my beloved tarot cards. I’m easily swooned over by the fascinating tales of the supernatural, but I’m still a skeptic until I see whatever it is with my own eyes. I bought a deck of cards for some teenage girl fun. I stayed up until 3AM the night I got my deck asking questions about my future, my love life, my friendships… you name it. The typical…15-16 year old stuff. I asked these questions over and over again, blown away about how much they made sense, how accurate the answers were and how much more I learned after doing these… “readings.” I’m now a firm believer of the tarot cards, I haven’t looked too much into how they work. It’s just like astrology and numerology. Most people don’t know how their daily horoscopes are determined, yet they are immensely accurate. I’m hoping to learn more about them though.

This is my Gilded tarot deck. It’s very lovely and vividly colored. I definitely chose a great deck to begin with. However, I feel like it’s time for a new deck. This will definitely be on my Christmas wishlist:

The style and coloring reminds me of Yoshitaka Amano’s Final Fantasy artwork and the way they’re drawn reminds me of the abstract world of Alice in Wonderland. I will adore the person who will exchange this gift with me for Christmas. It’s about $12.00 on Amazon. Out of everything my greedy little heart wants, this is one of the things I’m seriously about. In return, I’ll give you my old deck if you’re interested along with the gift on your wishlist. If not, I’ll probably keep it, maybe eventually give it away.

Thanksgiving

I did laundry so we can pack some warm clothing for out trip up to Neah Bay tomorrow. (It’s north of Forks!) While it spun for the long 70 minutes it requires to dry, I indulged myself with some instant hot chocolate and episode 10 of Gossip Girl. Yay for Lady Gaga, nay for Duff’s terrible acting. I will give it to her that her that it has improved immensely but I still feel like I’m watching Lizzy McGuire.

I can’t wait to get away. The house has been a drama-fest lately and I’m through sucking it up and smiling. Most of all, I anticipate my boyfriend’s mother’s cooking and his step-father’s big bear hug. Then we get to pester his younger sister as she works. It’s such a relief to be able to go up there. Good company is so rare and I truly value it.

This year, I am thankful for:

  1. My beloved parents who trusts me and supports me.
  2. My family, because when it comes down to it, they’re all you got.
  3. My friends, you break my heart everyday when you tell me “it’s not the same”. I miss and everybody.
  4. My Dinky, you’re the first pet that wasn’t given away by my mother and I miss you the most since you’re the only thing that I can’t communicate with.
  5. My weight, it’s means I’m fed well… Yeah. Haha.
  6. My room mates. I’m glad we’ll be moving into our own apartment soon. I know it’s hard to find responsible people. You guys are awesome.
  7. Nolan, you have a great heart and I’m happy to see someone who still believes there’s still good in people.
  8. My new opportunities.

lulz @ my facebook blowing up with “PERSONAL STATEMENTS” and something among the lines of dying and death being tossed up in there.

i cheated high school. it makes me feel like i cheated death. ♥

The pharmacists and technicians I intern with are great people and I laugh every time I go there because they clown around all day as they work. I’m talking to many, many other pharm students and they have absolutely no sense of humor. Talk about typical robotic-school-focused kids, man.

Why?!
